Common Sense On A Roll

 Mr. McCain
Back to Full Blog

It appears as though John McCain will be the Republican nominee for President of the United States. Unfortunately, I see Mr. McCain as being only slightly less liberal in his policies as his Democratic counterparts. This really concerns me in the areas of border security and fiscal policy. We cannot afford to not secure the borders of the nation, nor can we afford the suggested spending on healthcare and climate change. We simply cannot bankrupt our nation further on social policies and erroneous science.

God bless.

Mr. P,

I don't think you have to worry about security with Mr. McCain. He is a war monger if you ever saw one - and maybe that is what you fear.

There are lots of other issues - that he is a hot head and loses his temper easily and graduated fifth from the bottom of his class at West Point.

Ron,
I'm not too concerned with his willingness or ability to wage war. I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing. I'd never want a President who is unwilling to go to war. Sometimes it is a necessary evil. My biggest issue with McCain is his stubborness when it comes to securing the borders. I know this is a hot-button issue in Arizona and the rest of the border states. I'm just waiting to see where the fingers of blame go when San Diego goes up in flames due to terrorist infiltration from Mexico. I just can't understand why our "leaders" don't see this as a problem.

God bless.

MR. P: HELLO.

Yes,it seems that Mr. McCAIN will be the REPUB nominee soon, officially. I recently posted LETTERS to each of the remaining candidates on my blog site.

I guess, from the SPENDING money issue, it's kinda' like my EX wife. It all depends on what SHE thought was WORTHWHILE to spend money on. WINK>

Blessings to you and yours,

My BEST ....

Mr. P,

I'm not sticking up for him except to say that he does believe that Congress wastes too much money on pork barrel spending. If he's right and can tighten up the process some of that money could be made available for some of his programs. I don't know, it's a problem with few if any real solutions.

HELLO. Hope this finds you and yours WELL these days!

I see Senator McCain had a little FREUDIAN slip of his tongue the other night ....

Said something like, "I'm a LIBERAL conservative --- OOPS!". GRIN.

My BEST to you and yours,

Blessings .... TallPockets.
