My daughter had her school Christmas program this past Tuesday. There were plenty of songs about snow and reindeer and of course Santa. As the program progressed, a teacher announced that the kids would like to share the reason for all the merriment. They then proceeded to sing Silent Night. It was beautiful. We are still awaiting a call from the ACLU.
God bless and Merry Christmas.
In the town I raised my kids in (we lived there 33 years and just moved)we have a small Bible College. I'm not sure if that's the reason but in our public school we actually sing alot of cool Christmas songs that really glorify the Lord. In fact, they sang the Hallelujah Chorus a few years ago.
I really enjoy those concerts alot too, Mr. P.
You mentioned the ACLU.... I live in a small town. At our elementary school the PTO Pres is the pastor at a local church. He ALWAYS opens every PTO meeting, etc with a word of prayer. Thank God I live where we CAN do this without complaint!
