Common Sense On A Roll

Why I Like George W. Bush

I like George W. Bush. He is not afraid to not be liked. He has determined to prevent this nation from suffering another tragedy such as 9/11. He has been successful so far. There are alot of people out there who claim that he is an idiot. Idiots do not graduate from Yale.
There are those who have labeled him a murderer. The only thing he has murdered is the English language. He is not an orator, but he is always understood. Compare that with John Kerry, who's speech is flawless, yet undecipherable. There are those who chant constantly that Bush lied. If he did, then so did the vast majority of Congressmen and women on Capital Hill, some of whom are currently running for the Executive office. I like George W. Bush because he knows what he thinks. He doesn't have to ask anyone's opinion to form his own. President Bush has an undying love and respect for our military men and women. They know this. As someone with a family member in Iraq, I appreciate it. While I don't agree with every decision or action that the President has taken, I respect him. He is a man with a backbone. History will look kindly on George W. Bush.

God bless.

The Right Man (Or Woman) For The Job

The 2008 Presidential candidates are really beginning to gear up their campaigns. Like Christmas, they seem to start earlier and earlier. In light of the times and circumstances that we live in, this coming election is going to be very important. We face threats at home and abroad from Islamic terrorists. There are many important domestic issues to contend with, but they are irrelevant if we can't or won't ensure our nation's security. I would like to hear from you!
Who do you like or dislike in this presidential field and why?

God bless.

 Something to Lighten the Mood

A woman was lying on her death bed when she heard from God. God said to her, "You have alot of work left to do on earth, I am going to prolong your life 40 more years." Seeing that she had a new lease on life, she decided to celebrate. She called a plastic surgeon. She proceeded to have her tummy tucked, her breasts augmented, her nose done, and all her fat suctioned. Upon leaving her last surgical appointment she proceeded to cross the street. She was immediately struck by a garbage truck and died. When she arrived in heaven, she began to question God. She asked, "Lord, I thought you said I had 40 more years. What happened?" The Lord responded, "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you!"

 All Points Bulletin

I would like to put out an all points bulletin. It seems the Church of Jesus Christ (Not the Latter Day Saints, no offense to Mitt Romney)
has turned up missing. No one is quite sure of her location. Immorality is running rampant across the planet. It is possible and even probable that the Church has contracted this disease. If anyone has seen the Church, they are encouraged to get her to her physician immediatly. Contact Jesus Christ @ 555-PRAY. He will know what steps to take to return her to good health. Thank you!!!

 Dad the Dunce

Has anyone noticed that Dad is always portrayed as a blooming idiot on commercials and television? Why is it that Dad is fair game? If Mom were constantly portrayed as a fool do you think it would be tolerated for very long? Me neither.

God bless.
