Common Sense On A Roll
Monday July 19, 2010
The Tea Party has been labeled as extreme, as racist, as a bunch of kooks or fruitcakes. Let it be known that the Tea Party is simply an awakening of the American people.
God Bless

Obama's Department of Justice under the fine leadership of Attorney General Eric Holder have refused to pursue voter intimidation charges against the New Black Panther Party for standing outside polling places in Philadelphia in Panther regalia wielding billy clubs. Samir Shabazz, Black Panther member, is on video advocating the killing of "crackers" and their babies. Question: if members of the Ku Klux Klan were stationed outside polling places in Klan regalia, would the DOJ be ignoring it? No, they'd pursue it, and rightly so. Why the double standard Mr. Holder?

It has been a good long while since I've posted anything here. In my absence a lot of interesting things have occurred. We have been "blessed" with Obamacare. The Gulf of Mexico is filling up with oil. Democrats in the Congress are facing an angry electorate. The stimulus that the President and Congress have passed has stimulated nothing but government largesse at the expense of the private business sector. I will be giving my two cents concerning some of these matters. I welcome your comments, your constructive criticism, and your dialogue. Thanks, Mr. P

Today is Easter, or as I like to call it, Resurrection Day. It is the day that victory over death became a reality. The day that new life became real. The day that the mortgage of my heavenly abode was paid in full. I am free, because of the first Resurrection Day that today commemorates. If you do not know Jesus Christ, what better day than today to become acquainted with him? May God richly bless and keep you today!

Dear Mrs. Palin,
I know that there are many in the media and certain political circles that have lampooned you. They have attacked your family, your geography, your accent, your intent, your intellect. They continue to do so, even five months after the election. They have been utterly vile. It is one thing to disagree with you, yet they have resorted to name-calling, intimidation, and a curious war of attrition against you. What is it about you that drives certain people crazy? Is it the fact that you speak your mind? Is it the fact that you love your children unconditionally, even if they are a little different or have made some poor decisions? Is it the fact that you are one of the most popular elected officials to your constituency in the nation? Or is it the fact that you struck a chord with a large percentage of average, everyday Americans who love their God, their families, and the Constitution of the United States? There seems to be a coordinated attempt to ruin you so you will not place your hat in the ring for future presidential elections. That angers me. I see in you the same things that I see in many other great people I have the pleasure of interacting with on a daily basis. The treatment you have received tells me that you and the millions of other Americans like you are not welcome on the national stage of American politics. It tells me that I would not be welcome there. Madam Governor, if you choose not to be considered for nomination in 2012, I could not blame you. But, if you choose to run, I will be honored to support you in any way I can.
Sincerely, Mr. P
